He was predeceased by: his parents, Doc Spicer and Lizzie Spicer (Smith); his grandson Tyler Hinken; and his siblings, Fannie Mulkey, Beulah Graber, Paul Spicer and Hayden Spicer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Warmack; his children, Raquel Costello of Georgia, Betsy Spicer of Kentucky, Elizabeth Smith (Josh) of North Vernon, Samantha Klakamp (Rob) of Freetown, Indiana, Andrew Spicer of Springport and Dock Spicer (Naomi) of Leonidas; his grandchildren, Zack, Anna, Jasmine, Samuel, D. J., Joshua, Caleb, Mia, Mary and Jackson; and his siblings, Ruby Wells, Stella Powell, Faye Yoder, Jean Anderson, Mable Hemenway and Layton Spicer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
