She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Howe and Nola Howe (Marsh); her siblings, Virgil, Verl, Bobbie and Patricia; and her daughter Terry Jean Mason.

She is survived by: her husband Alvin "Buck" Starks; her children, Rick Starks (Terry) of Three Rivers and Kathy Starks-Smith of Dallas, GA; her grandchildren, Troy Starks (Jackie), Jessica Starks, Don Felcik (Linda), Denise Felcik and Zachary Smith (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Adam, Luke, Leah, Nicholas, Alisha, Kalea, Kelsey and Holly; her great great grandchild Neveah; and her brother Richard Howe (Betty). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
