It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard G. Sylvester of Mendon, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sylvester and Anna Sylvester (Houseman); his wife Dolly; his son-in-law Roger Moore; his granddaughter Casey Moore; and his great grandchild Jameson Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Fries (Frank) of Constantine, Lynn Brown (Rick) of Constantine, Richard Sylvester, Jr. (Joyce) of Mendon, Sharon Moore of Mendon and Sandy Albain (Phil) of Schoolcraft; and his sister Winkie Heisler of Alma. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
