He was predeceased by: his parents, Mona Schinker (Gehrig) and Leo Schinker Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Schinker (Lorrie); his brother Donald Schinker (Pat) of Cantonment; his children, Christopher Schinker (Regina) of Mendon, Cathleen Matthews (Jay) of Virginia Beach, VA and Joseph Schinker (Wanna) of Sasebo; and his grandchildren, Loryn Martini (Ryan), Lucas Schinker, Lila Schinker, Leo T. Schinker, Maliwan Schinker, Mintaya Schinker, Nicholas Matthews and Sadie Matthews. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
It is suggested that donations in Leo's name be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) and Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
