He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Grubka and Julia Grubka (Filas); his wife Shirley Hook; and his siblings, Alex, Harry, Joseph, John Grubka, Stella Makowski and Mary Makowski.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Barbara Stafinski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
It is suggested that memorial donations be directed to Birch Adult Foster Care in Leonidas, or to a charity of one's choice.
