He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Batten and Norma Batten (Roop); his pet Gator; his son Jeffery Lee Batten; his brother Gordon Batten; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Wiley and Ken Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Cook; his children, Joshua Batten (Shawn) of Cement City, Garrett Batten (Karlie) of Mendon and Ashley Batten of Three Rivers; his grandchildren, Devon Batten (Alura), Emery Batten and Brynn Batten; and his siblings, Dennis Batten (Michelle), Julie Wiley, Deb Thompson and Lisa Batten. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
It is suggested that memorials be made to the family.
