He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dean and Mary Dean (Barnes); his sister Diana; his stepgranddaughter Savannah Lingenfelter; and his former wife Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Cole (Chad) of Spring Arbor and Jeffrey Dean (Becky) of Three Rivers; his sisters, Delores, Donna, Dale and Denise; his grandchildren, Emerson Lingenfelter, Seth Luegge, Luke Dean, Zachariah Cole and Josiah Cole; and his former wife Rita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
