He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard W. and Beverly J. Snyder (Given); his sister Mary Shearer; and his sister-in-law Ginger Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Wheeler; his children, Richard Snyder (Shellie) of Mendon, Cheryl Howe (Rick) of Three Rivers and Amy Decker (Brian) of Leonidas; his grandchildren, Chad Snyder (Katie), Kylie Rowe (Jake), Jacob Howe, Spencer Howe (Tiffany), Clay Decker and Cole Decker; his brother John Snyder of Kalamazoo; his brother-in-law Chuck Shearer of Vicksburg; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; in-laws.

It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the Mendon Community Schools Foundation.
