He was predeceased by: his daughter Rose Ann; and his brothers, Richard Motte and Raymond Motte. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie; his sons, Steve Motte (Nancy) of St. Clair, Don Motte (Pam) of Jeddo, Joel Motte of St. Clair Shores and Ryan Motte; his stepchildren, Jeanne Westerhof (Bill), Julie Swantek (Dave), Jodi Schroeder (Arnold) and Jeffrey Wallace (Nancy); his grandchildren, C. J., Daniel (Julia), Austin, Mason, Megan, Ally and Carly; his great grandchild Matthew; and his siblings, Robert Motte (Mary) and Denise Mullen. He is also survived by eleven step grandchildren; four great-step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
