He is survived by: his wife Clara Vermeesch; his children, Dawn Smith (Gary) of Imlay City, Kelly Schultz of Memphis, Brad of Duluth and Chad (Theresa) of Belmont; and his siblings, Ann Phillips, Denice Patton and Mike Schulz (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
