With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lawrence E. Cooney of Memphis, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lawrence left this world on June 8, 2024 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Lawrence farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lawrence is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Cooney and Geraldine Cooney; his daughter Rebecca DeBoer; and his brother Gregory Alan Cooney. He is survived by : his sons, Joshua Cooney and Gregory Cooney; and his siblings, Floyd E. Cooney, Linda M. Krajenke (Gary) and Pamela J. Sarney. He is also survived by uncle, aunt and several cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at 4575 County Line Rd, Casco, MI 48064. A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
