He was predeceased by : his mother Mary Lou. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his children, Robert Garber of Richmond, Keith Garber of California and Jannie Locklear (Lee) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Leah, Emma, Joshua and Jacob; his stepfather Robert Cole; his siblings, Roy Cole (Kathy), Roberta Blanchard (Terry) and Peggy; and his friends, Tom Cairns and Nancy Reeves.
The family strongly encourages that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Memphis Lions Club or the Memphis Fire Department.
