He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Higgins, Sr.; his sisters, Barbara Jean and Joyce Ann Higgins; his brothers-in-law, Roy Routheaux and Jerry Costales; his niece Amber Costales; and his nephew Christopher Higgins.
He is survived by: his mother Eunice Higgins,; his wife Carol; his children, Carrie Higgins, Ronald Higgins (Kelly), Jonathan Higgins (Tammy) and Natalie Higgins; his grandchildren, Sierra Higgins, Dayton Brazill, Julia Brazill, Chloe Higgins, Addison Brazill and Murphy Higgins; and his siblings, Sheila Routheaux, Linda Higgins, James Higgins, Judy Costales, Wanda Storey (Les), Joe Higgins (Mary) and Susan Higgins. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors - Richmond (71235 Memphis Ridge Rd, Richmond, MI 48062). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Community Baptist Church (1620 Wadhams Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074).
