It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Franklin of Melvindale, Michigan, born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Kevin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kevin. Though Kevin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Franklin and Barbara Franklin; his spouse Kim Franklin; his daughter Nicole Whoolery (Steven); his siblings, Vicky Ross (Rick), Richard Franklin (Ruth), Max Franklin, Brian Franklin and Theresa Coleman (John); and his grandchildren, Kailey, Lucas and Leah.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
