With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Schmittou of Melvindale, Michigan, born in Vanleer, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on January 25, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Schmittou and Linda Schmittou; and his siblings, Kenneth and Norma Jean. He is survived by: his spouse Pat Schmittou; his sons, Anthony Mendez (Nicole) and James Schmittou (Audrey); his brother Bobby; and his grandchildren, Breanna, Daynna, Rebecca (Victor), Gabbi, Alyssa, Nolan, Thomas, Kane and Eva.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
