He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Alexander; his daughter Sandra Alexander; his sister Ruth Alexander; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Humble and Jim Ureel.

He is survived by: his mother Julia Alexander; his wife Sandra Alexander; his children, Marsha Gadzinski, Teresa Mata and Craig Sheridan (Roberta); his stepchildren, Kimberly Rich (James O'Connor), Candice Inbody (Fred), Carie Forton (Will) and Kelly Peruski (Rick); his siblings, Jim Alexander (Karol), Helen Humble, Jean Ureel, Marie Churchill (Marv), Sharon Chandler (John), Bob Alexander (Colleen), Tom Alexander (Chris), George Alexander (Cathy), Joe Alexander (Ronda) and Judy Harris (Marvin); and also Amy Eisenmann. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
