She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Melvin Scharphorn; her parents, Joseph Zomerlei and Anna Zomerlei; her stepmother Bessie Zomerlei; her brothers, Robert Dupree (June) and Jack Zomerlei (Maxine); her sons, David Scharphorn (Deborah), Steven Scharphorn (Elizabeth) and Greg Scharphorn (Lois); her grandchildren, April Stevens (Charlie), Amy Rice (Andrew), Ross Scharphorn (Kat), Dr. Laura Scharphorn and Kelli Gress (Josh); and her siblings, Carl Zomerlei, Paul Zomerlei (Carol) and Mary Zomerlei. She was also cherished by many extended family and friends.
