It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irma Takacs of Melvin, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Prentiss and Emilee Prentiss; her husband George Takacs; and her sister Helen Jacobson. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Takacs (Carol), Deb Shadley (Greg), George Takacs (Colleen), Carl Takacs and Greg Takacs (Sharron). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on September 29, 2020 from 3:00 – 8:00 p. m. following Covid-19 safety guidelines at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City.
Memorial donations may be made to the Brown City Library for the remodel project.
