He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Long and Muriel Long; his son Randy Long; his grandson Jamie Long; and his brothers, Erwin Long, Duane Long and Paul Long.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Long; his son Dale Long (Arleen); his daughter-in-law Diane Long; his siblings, Keith Long, Vern Long, David Long (Karen), Tom Long, Norma Westley, Judy Wilczynski, Shirley Robison, Mary Brusch and Diane Long; and his grandchildren, Janelle Long, Robert Long, Hailey Long, Nick Long and Cody Long (Hannah). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
