He was predeceased by: his parents, David Slee and June Slee (King); his son Rodney; and his former wife Donna. He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Yost); his sons, Matthew Slee (Sherra), Paul Slee (Theresa) and Thomas Slee (Kathy); his stepsons, Kenneth Jenkins (Nancy) and Mark Jenkins (Mary); and his brothers, Jim Slee (Joan) and David Slee (Pam). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and a growing tribe of great-grandchildren.
