She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Britten and Leatrice Britten (Leiter); her former husband Dick Borstler; her husband Gary Swier; and her brother Michael Britten.
She is survived by: her siblings, Susan Lovell, Candace "Candy" Smith (Scott) and Patrick Britten (Diane); her sons, Paul Swier (Rachel) of St. Louis and Chris Swier (Kate) of Remus; and her grandchildren, Maddie, Amelia, Jacob, Allma and Ila. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
