It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madonna Mary Grady of Mecosta, Michigan, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Brad Schafer; her stepson Fred Grady Jr.; and her brothers, David and Glen Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Joseph Schafer Jr. (Julia), Teresa Fussman (Jim), Bernadette Schafer, Margie Myers (Roger), Deborah Coe (Mark), Russell Schafer (Julie), Billy Schafer, Keith Grady (Bessie) and Kelly Grady (Christopher); her stepdaughters, Doris Grady, Tina Parrish and Mary Ann Avery (Dave); her sister Della Oberlin (Michael); and her sister-in-law Carol Matthews (Glen Matthews). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
