He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wurster and Mollie Wurster (London); and his sister Barbara Jean Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his daughters, Sue Ann LaDuke (Ronald) and Carol Jean Freeburg (Marlan); his grandchildren, Peter LaDuke (Erin), Timothy LaDuke, Bethany Heerspink (Lee), Nicholas Freeburg and Anthony Freeburg (Marina); his sister Mary Lou Bancroft (James); and his siblings-in-law, Warren Fisher and Virginia Dabich. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chapel of the Lakes Lutheran Church.
