It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Lois (Pietila) Deforest of Mecosta, Michigan, born in Ravenna, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Pietila and Mary Pietila (Paavola); her husband LaVern Alton DeForest; and her grandchildren, Kevin LaBelle and Amanda DeForest.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy LaBelle (Larry) of Mecosta, Edward DeForest (Christine) of Lupton and Thomas DeForest (Beatrice) of Copemish; and her grandson Aaron DeForest.
