He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Ekkel; his children, Tracy Harrison (Anthony) of Fremont, Kevin Gronso (Angela) of Fremont and Jason Gronso (Jennifer) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Connor, Brandon, Cody, Grace, Alexander, Emma and Samantha; his sisters, Frances Lensky and Nancy Ashbaugh (Lance); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Ekkel (Wendy), Charleen Dunn, Barb Gearhart (Jim), Connie Hartger (Henry) and Peggy Phillips.
