He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kora and Lillian Nelson (Ahola); his stepfather Elmer Nelson; his siblings, Richard Kora and Barbara Curtis; and his nephew Art Curtis.
He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Nelson (Penny) of Midland; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Kora of Ovid and Russel Curtis of Dafter.
