He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Mitchell and Gertrude Mitchell (Kettering). He is survived by: his former wife Linda Erickson; his wife Sandra Ahtila; his children, David Mitchell of McMillan, Jane Fisher of Marquette, Michael Mitchell of Roselle, IL, Brian Mitchell (Shelly) of McMillan, Susan Brauer (Chip) of Germfask, Jeffrey Mitchell (Pamela) of South Daytona, FL and Sarah Mitchell of McMillan; and his sister Frances Harvey of St. Charles, IL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
