It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Pearl Smith of McMillan, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Harriman and Rhea Harriman (Klein); her stepfather Tom McBride; and her sister Gertrude Crisp. She is survived by: her husband Emerson Smith of McMillan; her children, Mary Neumayer (Frank) of McMillan, William Rintamaki of Jamul, CA, Lisa Shilling of McMillan and Crystal Smith of Negaunee; and her siblings, Tom McBride (Claudia) of Arizona, Linda McKenzie (Mick) of Kalamazoo, Cathy Pilon (Mike) of Newberry, Terry McBride (Lisa) of St. Louis, Tim McBride (Cyndi) of Newberry and Fran McBride-Campbell (Mark) of Montana. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
