It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Painter of McMillan, Michigan, born in Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Marie; his sons, James and John; and his brother William Painter. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Painter Brennan of Ann Arbor and Rick Painter (Leta) of Beaverton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
