He was predeceased by: his parents, George McGarey and Ardath "Riete" McGarey (Tucker); and his brother Pat McGarey (Sandra Tong). He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Evans (Bob Crawford) of McMillan; his siblings, Cricket Keinonen (Delbert) of McMillan, Lyle Wheeler of Newberry and Frank Wheeler of Newberry; and also Terry Gibson of Mulberry, Arkansas.. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
