He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Hetrick and Margaret Hetrick (Davis); his son Andrew Hetrick; and his siblings, Robert, Richard, Viola Richards Gauna, Connie Wilson, Maurine Steele, Ina Lehto, Ann Lehto, Ellen Peterson and Linda Velarde.
He is survived by: his children, Don Hetrick Jr. (Pat) of Vicksburg, Michigan, Michael Hetrick (Lisa) of Dayton, Ohio, Dana Castle (late Danny) of Vicksburg, Michigan, Rhonda Burke (Dustan) of Antioch, William Hetrick (Cindy) of Vicksburg and Donielle Easlick (Nathaniel) of Kalamazoo; and the mothers of children, Rosalie Verburg Hetrick of The Villages and Patrica Hjertos of Leonidas, Michigan.. He is also survived by his seven children, 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, as well as his former wives.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Golden Leaves Living Center, Newberry, Michigan, in honor of the amazing staff that cared for him the past several months.
