We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 91, Sena VanderHeide of McBain, Michigan, born in Richland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter DeVries and Jennie DeVries (Ellens); her husband Reverend Kenneth VanderHeide; her siblings, Angie Postma (Sherman) of Jenison, Sylvia DeVries of Halden, Jane Klumpenhouwer of Sarnia and Ontario; her son-in-law Dwight Schofield; and her in-laws, Harold DeVries (Carolyn), Pearl Scholten, Stephen DeVries and Rev. John Klumpenhouwer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael K. VanderHeide (Barb) of Midland, Betty Jean Schofield of Rapid River, Joyce Mae Monsma (Tom) of Grand Rapids, Kathryn Sue Wolff (Wendell) of Berkley and Diane Joy VanStaaldninen (Bill) of Washington; and her brother-in-law Simon Scholten of Grant. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
