It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Marie Koning of McBain, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Mae Fredricks (Smits) and Arthur Fredricks; and her father-in-law Norman Koning. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Ken Koning; her sons, Kyle Koning (Becca), Kyric Koning, Kelvyn Koning, Kendyle Koning and Kameryan Koning; her granddaughter Alyana; her sister Amy Mannard (Tim); her brothers-in-law, Larry Koning (Sarah), Dennis Koning (Laurie) and Gary Koning (Erika); and her mother-in-law Saundra Koning-Ives (Dave).
