It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Shirley Boven of McBain, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Dick and Susan Dick (Hoekwater); her husband Tom Boven; her brothers, Kerwin Dick and Ivan Dick (Lillian); and her in-laws, Maureen Leach, Dorothy Kroes (Ed), Harold Bazuin, Gladys Huttenga (Jerry), Dick Boven, Henrietta DeRuiter (Henry), Mike Boven (Helen), Nancy VanHaitsma (Wes), Jerry Boven, Kay Mustee (Doc), Joanne Meyer (Ken) and Genevieve Boven.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Boven (Angie) of Falmouth, Jan Rivera (Paul) of McBain and Nancy Boven of McBain; her grandchildren, Mike Boven, DeNay Tossey (Greg), Kevin Boven, Miquel Rivera (Alisa), Reuben Rivera (Kenda) and Isaiah Rivera; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Dick of Falmouth and Ruth Bazuin of McBain.
