He was predeceased by: his parents, Anacleto Escalera and Leonor Escalera (Rodriguez); and his wife Pamela Ann Escalera. He is survived by: his children, Michael Escalera (Jessica) of Lake City, Tiffany Vargas of Lake City, Jose Escalera of Lake City, Heaven Sica Ajanel (Bayron) of McBain, Max Escalera of McBain and Mateo Escalera of McBain; and his siblings, Mary Esther, Gracie, Harasimo, Rosalinda, Mary Ann, Victoria, Diane, Mike and Rudy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
Private family services will take place at Young-Holdship Funeral Home and memorial contributions may be directed to Hope Network or Friends Ministry.
