It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Everett Strickland of McBain, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strickland and Rita Strickland (Letere); and his siblings-in-law, Roberta Strickland, Betty Ann Strickland and Gil Lamont.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, John Howard Strickland and Dorothy Sue Strickland; his grandsons, Austin Michael Janes and Cameron Michael Goble; his great grandchildren, Halstyn, Huxon and Finnegan Janes; and his siblings, William "Bud" Strickland, Madison "Mack" Strickland (Brenda), Charles "Chuck" Strickland, Marion Lamont and Clara Cone (Al).
