With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay D. Schutte of McBain, Michigan, born in Cadillac, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schutte and Johanna Schutte (Heuker); and his siblings, Paul Allen Schutte, David L. Schutte and Winona Schutte.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Schutte of McBain; his children, Melanie Schultz (John) of Bridgman, Jamie Kimbel (Tim) of Lake City, Joseph Schutte of McBain and Jess VanderMeulen (Scott) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Amos, Jacob, Elise, Chloe, Elijah, Joshua, Johanna, Isaiah, Gideon, Micaiah, Obadiah, Benaiah, Jaylee, Rebekah, Gracelyn, Henry, Gabriel, Olivia, Ethan and Kinslee; his sisters, Ruth Davis (Ron), Mary DeYoung (Bob) and Carol Snoeyink (Jerry); and his sisters-in-law, Marianne Coughenour and Vicki Schutte. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
