He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sexton (Jessie) and Helen Louise Clark (Potts); his granddaughter Makayla Lynn Clark; and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Margaret Smithee.
He is survived by: his former wife Kristine Lynn Smithee; his son Matt Clark (Betty) of Manton; his grandchildren, Paige (Brock), Emery, Jayce of Traverse City, Hunter, Hannah, Leyton and Lauren Clark; his children, Ethan, Briar, Addison, Avery, Cambell Clark and Jennifer Doolittle of Lake City; his grandchildren, Laura and Brooke Doolittle; and his sisters, Dr. Elaine Clark and Sondra Taylor (Rod) of Bloomfield Hills.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or the First Baptist Church.
