He was predeceased by: his father James Taylor; his siblings-in-law, David Koetje and Kathy Taylor; and his parents-in-law, Frances and Devere Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Taylor of McBain; his children, Sara Bahorski (Tim) of North Muskegon, Katie DeMann (Dan) of Dorr, Chris Taylor (Christina) of Hudsonville and Betsy Taylor of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Jack, Will, Sophia Bahorski, Bryce, Ellie, Paige DeMann, Ava, Edward and Harvey Taylor; his mother Henrietta "Hankie" Taylor (Karsten) of McBain; his siblings, Sue Boven (Paul) of McBain, Linda Koetje of Falmouth, Dale Taylor (Bev) of McBain, Bruce Taylor (Lynn) of McBain, Brian Taylor (Lori) of Oostburg, WI, Dawn Wilcox (Ben) of Big Rapids and Karen Koetje (John) of Byron Center; and his in-laws, Pete Sharp (Linda) of Cadillac, Sally Ederer (Tom) of Cadillac, Carolyn Weidenfeller (Gerry) of Cadillac, Penny McEachern (Mike) of Mesick, Barb Booth (Paul) of LeRoy and Kathy Dahlen of Boise, ID.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home (211 N Pine St, McBain, MI 49657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rehoboth Reformed Church (8372 S Lucas Rd, McBain, MI 49657).
