She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. VanHaitsma and Freda VanHaitsma (Borgman); her brothers, Gerald VanHaitsma and Chester VanHaitsma; and her sister-in-law Eleanor VanHaitsma (Hoekwater).

She is survived by: her siblings, Willard VanHaitsma (Janice), Joyce Wolbrink, Gordy VanHaitsma (Joyce) and Jim VanHaitsma (Barb); and her sister-in-law Rose VanHaitsma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Family Home in McBain.
