It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Louise Nye (McBain, Michigan), born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Olah and Helen Olah (Abraham); her husband Percy Louis "Lou" Nye; her son Daniel; and her siblings, Louis, Esther, Ethel, Edith, Robert, Marguerite and Albert.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Nye Mattick (William); her daughter-in-law Irma Nye; her grandchildren, Douglas Nye (Rebecca), Danielle Nye (Gary Hamilton), Rachel Sammon and Sarah Wolanin (Joseph); her sister Shirley Winkel (Arthur) of Plymouth; and her sister-in-law Nancy Olah of New Boston. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
