It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Westdorp of McBain, Michigan, born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Westdorp and Helen Westdorp (Hoffman); his siblings, Russell Westdorp (Connie), Harley Westdorp and Virginia Westdorp; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Westdorp, Barb Westdorp and Cindy Westdorp.
He is survived by: his siblings, Loretta VanderVlucht (Lee) of Falmouth, Gordon Westdorp of McBain, Gladys Blue (Don) of McBain, Cal Westdorp of McBain and Dale Westdorp (Cheryl) of McBain; and his sister-in-law Sandy Westdorp of Gaylord. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home (211 N Pine St, McBain, MI 49657). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Northland Community Church (5855 S Morey Rd, McBain, MI 49657).
