He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bowers and Phyllis Bowers (Teelander); his grandson Skylar Bowers; his brothers, Richard Bowers and Millard Bowers (Shirley); and his parents-in-law, Harold Bird Jr., Bill Bird, Don Bird, Garney Patterson and Barney Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Bowers of McBain; his children, Jim Puffer of Wilson, Alicia Bowers of Lake City, Don Jr. Bowers (Katrina) of McBain, April Sibinovski (Sasa) of McBain and Chuck Bowers (Krysti) of McBain; his brother Robert Bowers (Diane) of McBain; and his parents-in-law, Shirly Patterson of Rockford, Jim Bird of Durand and Sally Bird of Marion. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund at the Lake City Christian Reformed Church.
