He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver Walenjus and Lila Walenjus; his wife Kathrine Telford; his grandson Zachary Szabo; his sisters, Alice Gilde, Arlene Vandervluct and Norma Rich; his brothers-in-law, Edward Gilde and William Vandervlucht; and his pet Maizie.
He is survived by: his sister Susan Nees (Bill); his children, Karri Seger (Clark), Kimberly Fineout (Terry), Teresa Miller (Chris) and Jon Walenjus (Sara); and his grandchildren, Briella, Brady and Riley.
