She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brooks and Lucille Brooks (Wilson); her husband Steve York; and her daughter Laura Black. She is survived by: her child Dallas Powers (Lynette); her siblings, William Brooks (Debra), Lucy Gerber, Brenda Rickard and John Brooks (Charmin); her close friend Patsy Turner; and her son-in-law Glen Black. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
