We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Herbert Libby (Mattawan, Michigan), born in Springfield, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Libby and Bertha Libby (Reed); and his siblings, Merton Libby, Lincoln Libby, Virginia Rathnum and Mary Libby.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Libby (Brin); his children, Sheryll VanPortfleet (Greg) of Saugatuck, Glen Libby (Carolyn) of Mattawan and Wayne Libby of Mattawan; his grandchildren, Jacob Libby of Kalamazoo, Amy Schram (Joseph) of Grandville and Matt VanPortfleet (Stacey) of Zeeland; his great grandchildren, Meeka VanPortfleet of Zeeland, Kolby VanPortfleet of Zeeland and Talin VanPortfleet of Zeeland; and also Shirley Hovland of Connecticut.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church – Columbarium Fund which will provide an on-site repository for cremated remains.
