He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest H. Smith and Velma L. Smith (Porter); his wife Phyllis Harrison Smith; his children, George A. Smith Jr. (Helen), Paul Smith, Christopher Smith (Samantha), Sheree Standish (Terry) and Violet Snow (Scott Ward); his stepson Matt Brush (Wendy); and his siblings, Ernest Smith, Anita Echavarria (Al) and Lillian Reynolds. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
