Age 92 of Mattawan, passed away Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025. Delores was born in Nashville, TN, on October 29, 1932, the daughter of Fred Eugene and Vera (Kinningham) Griggs. On November 24, 1960, she married Kenneth F. Buchanan who preceded her in death in 2000. Delores loved reading and was an avid word search puzzler. She was a member of Rickman First Baptist Church in Rickman, TN. Delores lived a simple life and was kind and gracious to the end. She will be dearly missed. Delores is survived by her children, Barry (Lois) Buchanan of Battle Creek, Donna (Brian) Lemmer of Mattawan, Cheryl (Diana Lalonde) Buchanan of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren, Kenneth Buchanan and Katie Buchanan; great-grandson, Jayce Buchanan; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides her husband, Delores was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and a brother.
