It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert W. Hovenkamp of Mattawan, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chris Hovenkamp and Antonia Hovenkamp; his sister Anna; his wife Cheryl; his sons, Brian and Kevin Hovenkamp; his stepson Andy Truitt (Heidi); his siblings, Anne McNulty and Ken Hovenkamp; his pet Hachi; and his grandchildren, Elise, Mckenzie Hovenkamp, Mason, Landon, Gage Hovenkamp, Wyatt and Sawyer Truitt. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Youth for Christ.
