With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edwin Shields of Mason, Michigan, born in Wellsville, Kansas, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry T. Shields and Mary Adeline "Ethel" Shields; his wife Kathryn Jean Shields; and his brothers, William "Bill" Shields and James Shields.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Shields (Diana) and Cynthia Vlasic (Peter); his grandchildren, Daniel Vlasic (Shannon), Christine Vlasic Medaugh (Kyle) and Jennifer Shields Calderon (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Hayden Vlasic, Wilder Vlasic, Callan Vlasic, Patrick Medaugh, Keira Calderon and Thomas Medaugh; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Shields and Mary Anne Shields.
